Lily is a female Shar Pei aged 4.5 years old.
Lily stopped by with her owner, for a brief while, before continuing on her walkies along the Great Yarmouth seafront. The Shar Pei breed is definitely very beautiful, and Lily is not only beautiful, but a lovely dog too.

Thursday 18th August 2011 – Dog of the Day at Sara’s Tearooms
This is Brodie. Brodie is a female Staffordshire Bull Terrier, aged approximately 2 years old.
Brodie was a rescue dog from the Dogs Trust in Snetterton, and albeit she is a very excitable young dog, Brodie sadly has some very nervous reactions to sudden movements. It is clear that something happened to Brodie with her previous owners, to make her react in this way, but we have met Brodie, and her very kind owner Jamie, on three or four occasions now, and we can gladly say that her progress and trust of humans is being gradually built up again now. We have great respect for Jamie and the many other owners who have taken on rescue dogs (and animals) alike.
The best bit about Brodie is that she is simply adorable! We hope that you get to meet her someday!
Should you be in a position to show the love, care, attention and affection that a dog (or other animal) deserves and are interested in taking on a rescue dog like Brodie, please contact somewhere like the Dogs Trust in Snetterton online (via this link), over the phone on 01953 498377 or in person at their Snetterton site, Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre, North End Road, Snetterton, Norfolk, NR16 2LD.
Don’t forget…all dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). All we ask is that you clear up any mess that your dog makes…its not nice (we know), but Children (and adults too) like to enjoy a dog mess free area.

Meet Jess, our Dog of the Day for Wednesday 17th August 2011
Jess is a 10 year old female Greyhound. Today, as she does on many visits to us, she briefly stopped by the kitchen door and let (some of) us say hello in the usual Sara’s Tearooms fashion. As are many Greyhounds that we have met, Jess is a very gentle and affectionate dog…in our opinion, that is a great quality!

Sara’s Tearooms Dog of the Day, Tuesday 16th August 2011
Meet Dax, a male 10 year old German Shepherd Border Collie cross
Dax was visiting the Tearooms with his owner, but took time out from drinking tea and eating Homemade Cake, to relax in our Flower Garden and say hi to friends old and new. We could see how much he loves his owner, never leaving his side!
Cheers for stopping by and saying Hi Dax…we hope to see you again real soon!
Don’t forget…all dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). Sara’s Tearooms Dog of the Day on Monday 15th August 2011 is…
Peggy, a 7 year old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier
OK, we are slightly biased towards Peggy, as she is the Sara’s Tearooms family Dog. Albeit we are here every day during the main season, Peggy rarely gets to visit, spending most of her time taking care of Granny Smith…but today is a special day, namely Matt’s Birthday, hence she gets to visit for a while and enjoy running about chasing stones on the beach.
We hope you enjoy saying hi to Peggy as much as we enjoy saying hi to all our other four legged visitors.
All dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). All we ask is that you clear up any mess that your dog makes…its not nice (we know), but Children (and adults too) like to enjoy a dog mess free area.

Its a Sunday Special for Dog of the Day at Sara’s Tearooms
Meet a 16 week old male Border Collie puppy called Jasper
Jasper, as all puppies are, was an excitable dog constantly seeking attention and a lover of licking your ears and face (watch out for those teeth).
We thought that we would share the picture of Jasper with you as he was very cute…we hope you agree!
Don’t forget…all dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). Meet Archie, today’s Dog of the Day at Sara’s Tearooms, Great Yarmouth
Archie is a 10 year old male English Springer. He was at the Tearooms, spending a bit of time in our Flower Garden, on one of his daily visits as part of his week long holiday in Great Yarmouth with his owners. This time, Archie was making himself known outside our kitchen door…it was a welcome opportunity to take a few minutes during a busy period to say hi and give him a welcome greeting.
Archie makes his return home from his week long holiday here today…hopefully he (and his lovely owners) will be visiting again soon.
