Day 11 at Sara’s Tearooms Homemade Cake Festival – Monday 12th September

Sara's Homemade CakesThis Monday is day 11 of our 17 Day Homemade Cake Festival, running from now until Sunday 18th September.

During the festival we will have an extended selection of genuine homemade cakes (made by Sara’s herself) for you to enjoy.  Every day we will select one of these cakes to be named ‘Cake of the Day’, which will be available at a special price of £1.00 a slice or piece.

Sara’s Homemade Coffee Cake
Just £1.00 a slice

In addition to the great Homemade Cake, there will also be at least one homemade daily special meal available at £5.00 each, everyday during the event.  See our news page or Specials Board at the Tearooms for details of today’ special.

This Sunday also see’s the return of the ever popular genuine homemade Roast Dinner (no tinned vegetables or bought in Yorkshire pudding’s here).  Make your choice between the meats available…

The Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival is nearly here…

We are very excited that the Great Yarmouth Maritime Festival is just a day or so away, and today we got a sneak glimpse of what’s to come!!!

Whilst sat on our Beach Terrace, we were treated to seeing this sailing vessel preparing for the festival.  From the markings we think it is the Jubilee Sailing Trust‘s ‘STS Lord Nelson’!  It was a great sight and even more exciting to see those aboard preparing for what’s to come at the Festival.  We hope to free up an hour or so to visit the festival at some point during the weekend.

This may be more difficult than usual as we are right in the middle of our Homemade Cake Festival!  Our festival beings lots more genuine Homemade Cakes to choose from than usual, with two special festival offers…Cake of the Day at £1 each and our Homemade Daily Special Meal at just £5.00 each!

Today’s dog is Whiskey, a 2 year old male West Highland Terrier

Whiskey was visiting us at Sara’s Tearooms after spending some time on the broads…we were told he had real fun on the boat, but since he enjoyed his walk in Great Yarmouth and the fuss he got from us at the Tearooms.

Don’t forget…all dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace).  All we ask is that you clear up any mess that your dog makes..
