Doggy of the Day, Missy (aged 8 years) - 21/7/11 — Missy (aged 8 years)

Missy, a long legged Jack Russell.

Missy who is nearly 8 years old now, stopped to say hi and take a rest from her leisurely walk along Great Yarmouth seafront with her owners. She was lovely, and we enjoyed making a fuss of her!

Don’t forget, All dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). Be sure to visit us at Sara’s Tearooms soon, and your doggy might feature as our ‘Doggy of the Day’!

Sara’s Tearooms Scones – Homemade Today – Sold Today

Sara's Homemade Scones — Todays batch of Sara's Genuine Homemade Scones

Sara’s has been using the same recipe for her homemade scones since opening Sara’s Tearooms in 1999. Baking Scones every day we can ensure they are always fresh and can also say that we know every ingredient that is used to make them.

We choose to serve our scones with jam and real fresh cream (rather than bought in clotted cream) as we can regularly whip it up to ensure that we achieve a consistent experience for every customer. We have NEVER (nor will we) used squirty cream from a spray can in our Scones.

There are lots of places to buy an afternoon tea or scones with jam & cream on the Great Yarmouth seafront, but we believe that we are the only Tearooms on the Seafront that only sells genuine homemade (and not bought in homemade either) cakes and scones…and can safely boast that every cake & scone ever sold by Sara’s Tearooms (since we opened in 1999) has been homemade by Sara!

Save the Tearoom’s Bee’s

When visiting Sara’s Tearooms award winning Flower Garden seating area next, you may notice that we have a lot of Bee’s hovering around…this is very deliberate as Bee’s are very important to us. Visit Help Save Bee’s and find out why and what you can do to help save the Bee’s!

To help us keep the Bee population thriving, please do not kill our Bee’s, as long as you don’t aggravate them, they won’t hurt you!

Doggies of the Day – Wednesday 20th July 2011

Its, Doggy, Doggy, Doggy at Sara’s Tearooms!

The Doggies (yes there’s two) of the Day for Wednesday 20th July 2011 are…

Doggies of the Day, Angus (aged 3 years) & Josie (aged 4 years) - 19/7/11 — Angus (aged 3 years) & Josie (aged 4 years)

The two Border Collies are Angus, (on the left) he is aged 3 years and (on the right) Josie, she is aged 4 years.

Angus, Josie and their owners took time to enjoy the South Beach in Great Yarmouth, where a nice big run on the golden sand finished up with a nice cup of tea and two bowls of water for the dogs. If dogs could talk, we are sure they would have said they enjoyed visiting!!!

The Doggy of the Day for Tuesday 19th July 2011 is Hiy, an English Setter/Labrador Cross.

Hiy regularly stops by at Sara’s Tearooms on her daily walks, but rarely does she demand much attention, but she is lovely and gets fuss and an ear rub whenever we see her.

Dogs (and their owners) are always welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, hence we look forward to shaking paws with Hiy again tomorrow.

Yes it’s another of Sara’s Tearooms favourite doggies.

Doggy of the Day, Jack (aged 8 years) - 18/7/11 — Doggy of the Day, Jack (aged 8 years)

The Doggy of the Day for Monday 18th July 2011 is Jack, a Terrier Cross, or a Heinz 57 variety.

A regular visitor to Sara’s Tearooms on his twice daily walks with his female doggy friend Hiy (an English Setter), Jack is 8 years old and albeit small, he likes to make a lot of noise and make people think he’s a lot bigger. We just love his tufty hair-do!

Jack and all other dogs are very welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and we look forward to seeing Jack again soon.
