Doggy of the Day – Thursday 28th July 2011

It’s Thirsty Thursday…especially for energetic doggies, and today’s ‘Doggy of the Day’ is…

Doggy of the Day, Zara (aged 3 years) - 28/7/11 — Zara (aged 3 years)

Zara, a 3 year old English Mastiff Cross (not sure with what other breed). Zara was nervous of us at first, but persistence pays with such a lovely dog, and she came round to us making a fuss of her.

For a big dog, she was very lively, but very gentle and highly lovable. Lets hope she pays a return visit to Sara’s Tearooms whilst she is in the area on Holiday!

All dogs (and their owners) are welcome at Sara’s Tearooms, and on the South Beach which is right on our doorstep (well actually right next to our Beach Terrace). Be sure to visit us at Sara’s Tearooms soon, and your doggy might feature as our ‘Doggy of the Day’!

Doggy of the Day – Wednesday 27th July 2011

Doggy of the Day for Wednesday 27th July, is a Lhasa Apso called Pickles.

Doggy of the Day, Pickles (aged 4 years) - 27/7/11 — Pickles, relaxing at Sara's Tearooms

Pickles is 4 years old and will visit us in the Pleasure Beach Gardens on a daily basis to take his walk. After saying hi (and the occasional darting run into the Tearooms building), Pickles enjoys a nice stroll along side the South Beach area of the Great Yarmouth seafront.

Regular as clockwork, Pickles we be back again tomorrow.

Our Daily Special for Wednesday is a Genuine Homemade Lasagne for £5.75

Today see’s the return of the Wednesday night seafront Fireworks displays in Great Yarmouth. As a result Sara’s Tearooms is open late tonight…with our opening times from 9am until 8pm.

With lots of genuine Homemade Meals and Cakes on offer, take a seat, have something nice to eat or drink and enjoy the beautiful seaside views, or later in the evening, watch the fireworks from our Beach Terrace.

Meet Tor, Sara’s Tearooms ‘Doggy of the Day’ for Tuesday 26th July.

Doggy of the Day, Tor (aged 5 years) - 26/7/11 — Tor (aged 5 years)

Tor, a 5 year old Rottweiler Alsatian cross, a gorgeous rescue dog that just loves to take everything very calmly! Here he is just chilling on the sea wall outside Sara’s Tearooms.

A quick Doggy of the Day fact – Tor, very simply is Rot backwards.

Doggy of the Day – Monday 25th July 2011

Doggy of the Day, Timeone (aged 10 years) - 25/7/11 — Timeone (aged 10 years)

Today’s Doggy of the Day is Timeone (Timmy), a 10 year old male Lhasa Apso.

Timmy was a bit nervous and wary of us all at first, but soon warmed to us and got a very welcome ear rub. We were then treated to some of Timmy’s party tricks…he had definately earned his doggy bone biscuit!

Be sure to visit us again soon Timmy!

Meet Jake our Sara’s Tearooms Doggy of the Day for Saturday 23rd July 2011.

Doggy of the Day, Jake (aged 7 years) - 23/7/11 — Jake (aged 7 years)

Jake is what we would call an ambassador for all Staffordshire Bull Terriers. At 7 years old he is a fun loving doggy and full of beans too…but still very gentle with giving his affection.

Jake, who was visiting from Burton-upon-Trent, was very appreciative of the doggy friendly South Beach in Great Yarmouth as well as the very comfy chairs on our Beach Terrace. We were very appreciative of Jake stopping by to say hi.
