Ever since Sara’s Tearooms first opened in 1999, Homemade Cakes have always been on our menu!  Did you know that every cake ever sold at Sara’s Tearooms has been personally weighed, mixed, baked and decorated by Sara herself.

This takes a lot of commitment and dedication to do, especially in the busy periods of the season…Sara makes this possible by starting her baking at around 5am (and still managing to work right through until closing time 7 days a week).

We believe that this is unique for Great Yarmouth seafront and what makes Sara’s Tearooms stand out from the crowd!

We love Homemade…
Unlike many of our competitors on the seafront, when we say ‘Homemade’, our food is exactly that…HOMEMADE!

Since we opened for the 2011 season on 26th March, 1/3 of the meals purchased included a portion of chips.

That’s well over 1,000 portions served up!

This Saturday, in preperation for this Saturday’s Homemade Daily Special, we will once again be scrubbing and cutting lots of local potatoes to make our homemade Hand Cut Skin On Chips.  Our standard chips are great…these are even better!  Visit us on Saturday to try them as part of our Homemade Daily Special
