It’s Opening Day 2012 – Today’s Special is our Homemade Cottage Pie

Saturday 24th March 2012

Today, Sara’s Tearooms reopens for the first time in 2012…we will be serving our usual quality Homemade Meals and Cakes from 10:30am until 4:30pm.

Come along and enjoy the March weather this weekend with a walk along the seafront and then some delicious food and homemade cakes in our Flower Garden or on the Beach Terrace at Sara’s Tearooms.

Sara’s Homemade Special on offer today is: –

COTTAGE PIE
Beef mince and vegetables in a rich gravy covered with creamy mashed potatoes and topped with cheese.

Served with a choice of either: –

A selection of Fresh Vegetables & Gravy
or
Chips, Peas & Gravy

Don’t forget to come and show your support for Great Yarmouth’s unsung heroes running the Great Yarmouth Sport Relief Golden Mile tomorrow (Sunday 25th March)…the Start Finish line is right on our doorstep, so you can relax and watch the action with a nice coffee and a homemade cake.

Tomorrow is Opening Day 2012

After many weeks of painting, decorating, hanging pictures, updating facilities front & back of house the preparations for opening day 2012 are over. The ingredients for our many Homemade meals and cakes are ordered, ready for a busy early morning of baking before we open at 10:30am on Saturday 24th March 2012.

We hope you can come and join us this weekend, enjoy the best of Great Yarmouth Seafront’s homemade fayre, and see what’s new at Sara’s Tearooms.

Only 3 More Days Until We Open!

Following our winter break, this Saturday will be our first day open for the 2012 season.

With lots of refurbishments taking place to Sara’s Tearooms over the winter, and many new recipes tried and tested, we are set to open at 10:30am on Saturday 24th March 2012. Join us for your homemade favourites and some new ones as well, even take a look at our updated Great Yarmouth themed, Photo Gallery.

Sunday 25th March also see’s the Great Yarmouth Sport Relief Golden Mile take place right on our doorstep, which will be starting and finishing at the entrance to the Pleasure Beach Gardens. Come down and cheer the competitors running, 1, 3 and 6 miles challengers from 9:30am, our outside dining areas will allow you to relax and watch the action whilst enjoying our Homemade Food & Drink. Come and join us at the Tearooms from 8:30am to get a great cup of coffee, a quality breakfast and maybe even a cheeky slice of our delicious Homemade Cake.

See our themed Christmas Tree at the St Nicholas Church Xmas Tree Festival

As part of the 2011 St Nicholas Church Xmas Tree Festival, running from 10am on Wednesday 7th until 4pm on Saturday 10th December, we have entered our own Sara’s Tearooms themed Christmas Tree.

Our 6ft tree has been covered in lights and decorated with genuine Homemade Xmas Themed Cupcakes, Shortcake Biscuits, Teapots, Milk Jugs and Spoons. See it at the festival (entry number 12), over the next few days…entry is £2 per adult (accompanied under 16’s are free), with opening times, Wednesday 7th 10am – 7:30pm, Thursday 8th – Saturday 10th 10am – 4pm. With over 70 entries of Xmas Tree’s and Cribs, the festival is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit whilst helping support the fund-raising for the fabric and organ of St. Nicholas Church in Great Yarmouth. We are proud to be supporting the event, and hope that you can too…the selection and variety of tree’s is really good!
